Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
In short: this website only collects your email address (and, if you wish, your first name and username), only if you sign up for the newsletter, and only with your consent. No account, no cookies; audience measurement is anonymous and cookie-free. One-click unsubscribe. This translation is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
1. Data controller
DAMDAMCARDS, SASU with a share capital of €2,000, Paris RCS 107 858 714, registered office: 66 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France.
Contact for any question about your data: contact@damdamcards.com.
2. Data collected
- Your email address, entered in the newsletter sign-up form.
- Optionally, your first name and username (Whatnot, Voggt or Instagram), to personalise emails and recognise you during live shows. No other data is requested.
- The date of your sign-up and of your confirmation (double opt-in), recorded by my email provider as proof of your consent.
DAMDAMCARDS collects no other data through this website (see also section 7 on hosting).
3. Purpose and legal basis
Purpose: sending you the DAMDAMCARDS newsletter (new card arrivals, live show dates and subscriber-only giveaways).
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by entering your address in the form (the text below the field states that you agree to receive the newsletter), then confirming your sign-up from the email you receive (double opt-in). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter, or by writing to contact@damdamcards.com.
4. Recipients and processors
Your address is used by DAMDAMCARDS only. It is never sold, rented or transferred. It is entrusted to the following provider, acting on my behalf:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 17 rue de Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France): sign-up management and newsletter delivery. Data is hosted in the European Union.
5. Retention period
Until you unsubscribe. If there is no interaction from you for 3 years (opening or clicking a newsletter, email exchange), your address is deleted.
6. Newsletter open tracking
Newsletters may contain an open-tracking pixel and click-tracking links (Brevo). They are only used to check that emails are delivered and to stop writing to inactive addresses (see retention above). You can object at any time by writing to me, or block automatic image loading in your email app.
7. Website hosting
As with any website, the hosting provider technically processes visitors' IP addresses and browser information to deliver the pages and keep the service secure (technical logs). DAMDAMCARDS does not use this data.
Hosting provider: Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland), a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection.
8. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. It uses a cookie-free audience measurement tool (Umami Cloud, by Umami Software, Inc., with data hosted in the European Union), which counts visits anonymously and in aggregate (page views, referrer, device type, newsletter sign-ups), with no personal identifier and no cross-site tracking. In line with CNIL guidance, no consent banner is therefore needed.
Upcoming live show dates come from a public Google Calendar: to display them, the page queries the Google Calendar service (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, a participant in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework), which receives your device's IP address in the process, without cookies. If you subscribe to this calendar, the subscription happens in your own calendar app, under its terms.
9. Security
The website is served over HTTPS only, and access to data is restricted to the people who need it.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict your data, to object, to data portability, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to set instructions regarding your data after your death.
To exercise them: contact@damdamcards.com. I reply within one month.
11. Complaints
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes, or by post: CNIL, Service des plaintes, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France. You may also contact the data protection authority of your country of residence.
12. Changes
This policy may change; the date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
