Era 2007-2010

LV.X

A 2007-2010 card placed on the Pokémon of the same name to level it up.

In the Diamond & Pearl and Platinum era (2007-2010), a LV.X card is placed on top of the Pokémon of the same name already in play. It keeps its attacks and gains those of the LV.X. Sparkling holo across the whole card.

Good to know “LV.X” replaces the usual level, right next to the name.
