Era 1997

Team Rocket

1997: Team Rocket's Dark Pokémon, with the R symbol.

The Team Rocket set (1997) features Team Rocket’s menacing “Dark” Pokémon, like this Dark Charizard. The R symbol sits at the right of the height/weight line. Team Rocket came back in the ex era, with Snorlax ex.

Good to know “Dark” is part of the name: a Dark Charizard is not a regular Charizard.
